Most online seating chart makers are repurposed diagram tools: they hand you shapes and you supply everything else. Seat Chart App works the other way. It knows a round eight-top has eight seats, knows which one is still empty, and updates the printable guest list the moment you drop a name in.
Presets cover round eight- and ten-tops, banquet rectangulars, square four-tops, classroom rows and theatre rows, with the seats already positioned correctly; drag, rotate and duplicate them with a mouse or a thumb. Click any seat and type a name and it fills with that guest's initials, so the chart stays readable from across a room.
One chart then produces everything handed out on the day: the floor plan with stage, bar and dance floor placed on the room, a printable place card per guest grouped by table, an A-Z find-your-seat entrance poster, and fold-over table number tents readable from both sides. PDFs export to US Letter or A4 with a guest list grouped by table underneath. It is built for weddings, classrooms, conferences and restaurants. The free plan generates every export with a small watermark; Pro removes it.
